For the last month or so I've been experimenting with a free video editing software made by Pinnacle. It's called VideoSpin. So far, I especially like two things about it. (1) It's free. That's always a big plus. (2) It gives you much more freedom to add and manipulate text on your video, much more control than what you'll find in Windows Movie Maker. It's pretty simple to use. If you can find your way around WMM, then VideoSpin will come quickly to you. If you're interested, snag your free copy of VideoSpin here: http://www.videospin.com/Redesign/ One down-side I've found is that VideoSpin doesn't seem to import jpg images. So if you want to display a still image, it looks like you'll need to make it into a video in WMM first. Then import the video of the image into VideoSpin. It seems like there is supposed to be a way to import still images. But I can't seem to get it to work.
